Bea’s local knowledge and experience as Chair of Young Directors in North Yorkshire gives business owners valuable insight into all aspects of running a successful enterprise.
The first-hand experience that Bea has of previously being a small business owner and understanding the challenges this brings is invaluable to the team…not to mention that she’s been a member of the team at Leeds Beckett University, Leeds City Council and Deloitte.
Rebecca
Rebecca is our Economy Officer with an in-depth knowledge of the Harrogate and neighbouring areas.
Rebecca’s role involves working with stakeholders to develop and deliver regeneration projects, supporting commercial development and investment and local economic growth through the local planning system.
Rebecca is an expert at co-ordinating and assisting with the management of major redevelopment projects and her professional expertise, knowledge and experience provide an invaluable resource within the Business Support Team.
Michaela
Michaela is our local business Growth Manager and specialises in skills & business planning, funding applications, consultancy and business development.
Michaela has held leadership positions in multiple sectors including manufacturing, construction, retail and charitable organisations.
With over 15 years in business support, Michaela’s knowledge and personal experience have made her an indispensable resource, providing businesses with expert guidance on a variety of subjects.
Neil
Neil is our Senior Economic Development Officer. Neil has over 15 years experience in business banking, private sector grant funding, financial consultancy and business development.
He has delivered successful grant funds in Co. Durham and Teesside and now leads on inward investment projects in the Harrogate area. Along with being responsible for the operational management of our Co-lab workspace in Harrogate, Neil is actively involved in the business networking community and is a regular host and contributor to business forums and personal development training sessions for business owners.
Eddie
Eddie is our Economic Development Graduate Trainee!
Eddie looks after the social media and marketing content. He’s also a font of knowledge when it comes to events and is great at researching what’s going on in the area and liaising with the business support team to increase business engagement.
In addition to being our “digital expert” in Harrogate, Eddie works in the Ryedale area where he’s part of delivering projects within the Tourism, Facilities, Climate Change and Communities sectors. Eddie’s knowledge and experience of working within different parts of North Yorkshire and on multiple projects make him a valuable member of the team.
